Talos 4-Channel H.264 DVR with Flip-Out 7" LCD Screen No HDD - Description

With a convenient 7" LCD monitor built-in, this feature rich DVR is easily the core of any surveillance system. The LCD monitor is stored within the DVR and with a push of a button the motorized monitor comes out and is ready for viewing video. Four BNC video inputs will accept any color (or black and white) camera with composite video output. H.264 video compression allows for more recording time on the hard drive than other formats while preserving the quality of the recorded video. The DVR uses a standard SATA hard drive (max 1TB) that you install, and you are ready to begin recording. A 10/100 Ethernet port provides access to the DVR from any computer on your home network and even remote access over the internet. Connect the video output to any TV with composite video input, modulate the signal for viewing throughout your house or review high resolution video on a PC monitor via the HD15 output (up to 1280 x 1024 resolution).

Convenient access to the DVR by front panel controls, included IR remote control or included USB mouse. The intuitive on screen GUI is very user friendly and allows you to set-up the DVR, find the video events, export or back them up easily. User selectable display modes include quad, PIP, single camera and sequencing. Set up your DVR to record constantly or make searching for the event easier by using the built-in motion detection function or trigger externally by an alarm contact. Content stored to the hard drive can be exported to a USB drive for ease of transportation and viewing. The system can be set to overwrite earlier video so it never needs to stop recording.
