Talos Vandal Dome IR Camera 550 Lines Varifocal Lens
Vandal-proof dome cameras are designed to survive when lesser cameras are scattered across the floor. A rugged, heavy duty aluminum die-cast housing features rubber o-ring seals to protect from moisture ingress. An optional wall mount provides an attractive way to mount the camera and conceal the cabling. This dome housing was designed with the professional installer in mind; easy access to mounting holes and a tether that holds the upper dome while camera adjustments are made makes installations smoother. Captive screws are used to secure the upper and lower dome housing, so you don't need to worry about dropping them when you are on a ladder.
Able to survive a direct hit from a bat, club, or hammer, the polycarbonate dome will not cloud over time. A black cowl houses the IR LEDs and surrounds the lens, making it difficult to tell which area the camera is observing. Use this camera inside or outside and in direct contact with rain and water. The gimbal camera mount within the housing makes aiming the camera effortless.
The camera features a color 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD II that produces 550 lines of resolution while 30 IR LEDs illuminate the darkness up to 75 ft. and turn on automatically when ambient light falls below 1 lux. A 4-9 mm varifocal lens allows you to set the cameras viewing area to your specific needs. This camera will work with virtually any surveillance system, TV, or VCR with a composite video input; video output 1V p-p at 75 ohms. The camera operates on 12VDC or 24VAC for maximum system flexibility.
