Simply install the included 1TB SATA hard drive (max 2TB), and the DVR is ready to start recording. The system can be set to overwrite earlier video stored on the hard drive, so it never needs to stop recording. Viewing and archiving video content can be done easily using a USB drive or a computer connected to the DVR on your network. Connect the video output to any TV with composite video input, modulate the signal for viewing throughout your house, or review high resolution video on a PC monitor via the HD15 output (up to 1280 x 1024 resolution).

You can record video on the DVR continuously, by schedule, or by alarm to save on hard disk resources. Alarm can be triggered by an external device; like an alarm panel or contact, or by video motion detection built into the DVR operating software. Operate the DVR from the front panel buttons, wireless IR remote control, or intuitive GUI with the included mouse to set-up, review, export, and back-up video easily.
