The Usher UA701 was created for Dayton Audio by world-renowned audio authority Dr. Joseph D'Appolito. Dr. D'Appolito's engineering prowess, in combination with the Usher 9930 1-1/8" tweeter and 8945A 7" woofer, has produced one of the most exciting speaker kits available. Joe D'Appolito designed a speaker that is smooth and non-fatiguing, with accuracy rivaling that of many commercial studio monitors. Proven-quality components are used in the superbly optimized, pre-assembled crossover. A user-supplied 0.75 cu. ft. cabinet is required to complete this kit – all other components are included. The perfect speaker project for anyone who enjoys designing and constructing their own enclosures! The Usher UA701 is also available with cabinet, in a variety of styles and finishes. Specifications: *Impedance: 4 ohms *Frequency response: 41 - 20,000 Hz *SPL: 86.5 dB 2.83V/1m *Power handling: 80 watts RMS *Recommended cabinet internal volume: 0.75 cu. ft.
