PC to HDMI 1080p Scaler Box with OSD Menu
Imagine if you could sit back in your easy chair as you check e-mail, feel greater intensity from your favorite PC-based video games, or simply surf the internet on the HDTV in your living room. HDTVs are ideally suited to work with PCs, but more often than not, lack the input connection necessary. Simple video converters typically change the sync frequency of the video source to match that of the display. This technique leaves room for video artifacts and errors that negatively impact your viewing experience. Video scalers apply complex mathematical equations to calculate and plot the pixel values of the image resized. Scalers often also apply video processing to improve the apparent definition of the video signal resulting in a perceived high-definition video image. The PC to HDMI scaler accepts an analog VGA source (such as the output from a video card), and outputs it as a high definition digital video signal carried over HDMI. Automatic detection of the native resolution allows the unit to set the output signal to the optimum capability of the display or you can manually adjust the settings via the intuitive on screen menu. Analog stereo audio and optical digital audio (standard on most modern motherboards) is encoded with the HDMI video signal for decoding by the HDMI receiver in the monitor.

 HDTV resolutions from 480i through 1080p are supported, as are video input resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. Automatic detection of the native resolution allows the unit to set the output signal to the optimum capability of the display or you can manually adjust the settings via the intuitive on screen menu. Compliance with HDMI v1.2, HDCP 1.1, and DVI 1.0 has been met for a worry-free experience. Includes scaler, power supply, 4 ft. VGA male to male cable, and a 6 ft. stereo RCA to stereo 3.5 mm plug adapter cable. Dimensions: 1" H x 4" W x 5-3/4" D.
